Concerts and live music
Lately I've been doing a lot of photos of concerts, not so much with lights etc. ... but rather live music with natural light.
The oblique light of the sunset in my opinion makes good effects when the music is done in open or semi-open as the local "Gattarossa" in Piombino (LI).
At the same time if it is cloudy or the light is not very good (eg flash) I noticed that the black and white solves many problems: The decent picture remains even if the flash itself is not good either the color or the eyes. Instead of removing red-eye directly put in black and white, that still use it a lot because I think it lends itself to portraits and musicians in particular.
I'm still learning some details. For example, when shooting with a tripod and some time 'long for the little light I realize that the blurring is inevitable and not always pleasant.
