Metal Fireplace Surround

fires, fires that passion (part two)

To take pictures at fires with knowledge of the facts I used an ISO 1600 (I think for the night is practically necessary, is not it?) And step fast (F/5.6, 1 / 60 for example).
Frankly, I used the flash ... even though the fire did not match any effect has "helped" the machine to focus and shoot.
I took several photos in sequence, or at least one after the other, in both the occasions when I started to photograph the fireworks. Obviously not all came, but I put some on the album ...
Where I used a shot a bit 'slower I came to the effect "cascade", in some cases passable (if it was just too slow) in others no way.
With the D40 in one case I decided I shooting speed and aperture (f/5.6, 1 / 60) and I have come not bad (but there was more light around!) And, in case I gave the 'setting of "sport" and there There was much more casual. Frankly
should choose the program. They can be cute even with a "sport" but it is not mentioned, so always best to give you a custom ...

This I did with the custom setting (using the steeple as "targeted" to point the machine)
The others are made with the setting "sport" ... HI1 and sometimes instead of ISO 1600 ... I had some problems with the car that night, with lighting town that bothered me and I was troubling to frame ... The weeping willow
in fact, came well ... do not think I could say the same of this picture, although in general is pretty enough to look good especially Enlarged we see the many faults ... much lower than that made with the bell, say, even if the fireworks were beautiful and as for the "scene" there was not even compare ...
