Floor Plan Granny Flat Only

filter degrading

always read in magazines and booklets I have discovered the existence of gradient filters, which despite its name makes you think that places "garbage" in the photos (Stupid joke) is actually a very useful tool.
This is a gray filter and non-colored, a plate, with a clear side and a gray. They come in different tones from light gray to dark (I must remember to go buy the second, and I will already dispersed).
must be placed in a special holder in front of the lens, and the dark side must be positioned on the side of the sky, while transparent to the land. E 'useful especially in the evening, with the sky still bright and the land already in shadow. Example
without filter:

The sky is gray, maybe even too bright, the houses underexposed. Not the most of the landscape but of course this is an experiment. If I had more exposed to the sky would come even worse, with all the black squares.
Using the filter, you can avoid part of the underexposure of the earth and especially to "burn" the sky.
The use for which I have bought it mainly at night, but it can also be used during the day (when I remembered I'll go get the lighter, as long as the shop has not already sold to others).
Here the example of the same houses with the same sky, at the same time on the same day, taken using the filter:

I must say that when I saw the photos on the LCD SCREENS machine I thought I bought a useless object, or not having been able to use, because the difference seems small. I had a nice surprise, however, when I downloaded. Enlarged views of these photos on your computer are different. I think I'll take the filter as often as I will plan to take some pictures at sunset without wanting to take the rest as a silhouette, or if I want to use long exposure times.
be noted that the gradient filters are not only gray I like what I got (I insisted that I wanted to just gray, ie, neutral).
There are also a variety of colors, not just to the plate. For now I will use crdo gray, because it gives the scenes a more natural effect.
