A fairly recent experiment I did in one evening at the marina Libeccio Salivoli to Piombino. When they built the marina has formed a beach, actually quite low and even ugly, I did not know because I had never seen before. What's good is that I could place the tripod on the bank of land that lies between the beach and the wall of the marina. I state that a good portion of these shots I always have to rearrange, because they are crooked (the wind moved the easel, so to make it stable is not always the best location was the most straight).
addition to the shots "classics" I also did some photos with long lead times (though not more than 8 seconds) using the neutral density filter degrading. I've already spoken ... what I've seen is that, especially when I superimposed the filters to be able to take more time (it was evening, but there was a lot of light) with the AUTO white balance the picture I took on a reddish which I think was already in the photos with the buildings made with a filter alone.
The effect itself is not sorry, but I would rather find a white balance that would fit more. The correction at the end I made it with Photoshop.
The most natural ", but still very, very blue, I got with the balance set to" Fluorescent "(??)." Glow "becomes far too blue, while" Sunlight "is red, but" lively . Too much red, however, seems to me shot by "Shadow" and "Cloudy", the two balances on which I had driven to the top. The filters, then, although gray, pink tones give this becomes a pairing that proves that sometimes really inappropriate ... a sea may also be original, but with plants in the middle I think the photos would turn into something to trash without mercy.
