Still life with macro lenses

This is the retouched version with Photofiltre. I loved the brightness and contrast. This is an amethyst collezine taken by my mother and photographed on the terrace of my with sunlight. The black is a black Fabriano sketchbook, very common. I guess you see the texture.

The contrast seems to me that has not drawn a great benefit. The depth of field leaves enough to be blessed, so we will have several nice bokeh ... However
lenses cost less than a macro lens, very least, and if you are not sure you want to become a fan of macros, or (like me) prefer to invest in equipment as generic as possible to have fun to experiment with other persons can be a nice thing, provided you have the patience to get red eyes to come and be a sweaty session to learn how to use them.
Note: I did not use a tripod. I think could benefit greatly, however. I intend to stand and actually placed with the other lighting conditions.

post a link to a site on which it is described this type of lenses ... and much more on the macro with the camera ...

macro techniques explained on the website Digital Photography

I think I will concentrate in the ring trying to overthrow the target (opposite the lens)! I am very curious about this technique, although for convenience and also because it was cheap I bought the lens ...

also share what it says on the site focus: I have tried both manual and auto focus that I tormnato a little 'manual in swaying a bit better' with the camera to find the point where it makes it better. With the LCD screen is a treat I guess. With the viewfinder un po' meno... dopo un po' ti ritrovi gli occhi come quelli di una seppia...
