FREE ACCESS presents: Second Festival of Visual Arts in Ceglie from 18 August to 6 September 2006 CF2, Festival of Visual Arts in Puglia in the second edition. After the workshop, "Photographing the Ceremony" held in Ceglie, April 2006, FREE ACCESS continues its activities with the Second Festival of Visual Arts in Ceglie, CF2, from 18 August to 6 September. The theme is built around which the entire skin Festival is intended as a sensory organ through which to know the reality and communicate it, and how doubly linked to the image content. The project is divided into 4 sections by Francesca Cavallo. Geographies Skin is the section that exhibit Letizia Battaglia, working with photographers, Festival Internazionale di Roma, Massimo Mastrorillo, Lina Pallotta, Ninni Romeo and Natalie Zwillinger. The Site Specific Projects section protagonists of two exhibitions, the artist Sandro Mele Salento and Marco Bernardi. In Variations on a Theme, Elena Arzuffi, Rocco Dubbini Mariana Ferratto, Brunella Longo, Eugenio Beaten and Corrado Sassi, develop doubts and reflections on the complexity of the issue to the skin. The last section is entitled Open Access to Photography, space devoted to the selection of the best photos taken at the workshop photographing the ceremony, organized by FREE ACCESS in April. In addition alle esposizioni, CF2 propone tre tipi di eventi collaterali che completano la trattazione del tema a pelle: un portfolio day , in collaborazione con Outside School, il 28 agosto; un workshop di tecniche antiche di stampa tenuto da Andrea Mosso; la presentazione al pubblico il 20 il 22 luglio di alcune delle più significative uscite editoriali rispettivamente di Lorenzo Castore e, a cura di Manuela Fugenzi, Brunella Longo; un incontro con Letizia Battaglia il 3 settembre, a cura di Augusto Pieroni.
La suggestiva location scelta per l'occasione è l'ex convento dei Domenicani nel centro storico di Ceglie Messapica, (Brindisi) , la struttura, dall'architettura e storia significative, si presta a raccogliere l'intera manifestazione.
